What is HelpGuides.io?

HelpGuides.io is an enterprise documentation platform built for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). It helps teams create, organize, and publish documentation that is optimized for AI-powered search and answer engines.

What is the MCP Connector?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and knowledge sources. With the HelpGuides MCP connector, Claude or ChatGPT can:

• Search and read your documentation
• Draft new articles and edit existing ones, saved for you to review
• Add images, categories and links
• Work through instructions you leave on articles as review comments

Try it yourself

Copy your project's MCP URL from AI Settings, then follow Add Claude as an MCP Connector or Add ChatGPT as an MCP Connector. Then ask: "Create a Hello World article in my docs."
