Admin toolbar when viewing an article
When you view an article or blog post on your docs site while signed in to HelpGuides, a toolbar appears at the top of the page:
This is the admin toolbar. Readers never see it. It contains:
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Opens the project in HelpGuides. |
| Views chart | A small chart of the article's recent page views. Hover over it to see the numbers. |
| Edit Article | Opens the article in the editor. |
| Logout | Signs you out of HelpGuides. |
The toolbar is shown only when your docs site recognizes that you're signed in, for example after you click Preview in the editor. When you're signed in, you can also view draft and scheduled articles. See Writing and Editing Articles.
