Your account can have several projects, for example product documentation, a developer portal and a blog. If you\u0027ve reached your plan\u0027s limit, HelpGuides shows a message instead of creating the project.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Ch3 id=\u0022what_a_new_project_starts_with\u0022\u003EWhat a new project starts with\u003C/h3\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cb\u003EA helpguides.io address.\u003C/b\u003E HelpGuides makes a subdomain from the project\u0027s name, for example \u003Ci\u003EAcme Product\u003C/i\u003E becomes \u003Ccode\u003Eacme-product.helpguides.io\u003C/code\u003E. If that\u0027s taken, a number is added. If the name contains a reserved word, such as \u003Ci\u003Edocs\u003C/i\u003E, \u003Ci\u003Ehelp\u003C/i\u003E or \u003Ci\u003Esupport\u003C/i\u003E, the project gets a random subdomain instead. To change it, contact support.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cb\u003ESearch engine indexing turned off\u003C/b\u003E, so nothing is indexed while you set up.
